Hi, I’m Claudia Delgado Aguero, owner of Tiny Trims, Omaha’s first sensory-friendly children’s haircut studio.
Tiny Trims was built from love — love for children with autism, Down syndrome, and sensory sensitivities who deserve a calm, patient haircut experience. I proudly work with children of all abilities, giving each one the time, care, and understanding they deserve.
But this journey hasn’t been easy. I’ve had to move twice — once after just six weeks, and again after five months — because not everyone understood the clients I serve. I was constantly walking on eggshells, afraid that a child’s cries or movements would upset others. Still, I refused to give up.
I started over each time, with faith that these kids needed someone who saw them for who they are — not for how they act.
This year, I was honored with the Autism Action Partnership “Help is Hope” Award, a reminder that every struggle was worth it.
Now, I’m asking for your help to keep Tiny Trims going — to provide free haircuts for families in need and continue offering a safe, loving space for every child who walks through my door.
Your support keeps this dream alive — one haircut, one smile, and one child at a time.
If you’d like to help make that possible, you can donate directly here:

Every contribution, big or small, helps us continue spreading kindness, inclusion, and confidence—one haircut at a time. 💫
Cash or checks payable to Claudia Delgado are also appreciated.
